"Ottawa University Day of Giving 2026 - OU Forever More" is a 24-hour, online fundraising event and a spirited celebration across our Ottawa University campuses. Held annually on OUKS Charter Day—April 21st—this special day brings together alumni, faculty, staff, students, parents, friends, and fans to give back and pay it forward. Every contribution supports vital programs and key initiatives across all of our OU campuses.

Whether you are currently sharing a recurring gift, or this will be your first donation to OU, we can assure you that we appreciate every dollar that makes a difference in helping us reach our goal of $60,000.

Your gift will help us advance our enduring mission of preparing students for lives of personal significance, vocational fulfillment, and service to God and humanity.

In keeping with tradition, we will recognize and congratulate the decade that donates the most money during our Day of Giving, with one lucky winner in that decade receiving a special gift from the OU Advancement Office.

Ottawa University Day of Giving 2026 - OU Forever More / Where Does Your Gift Go?
All gifts can be directed to a specific fund or scholarship via the "Make a Gift" page referenced below. If no designation is made the gift will be utilized as part of the University endowment. All gifts received, whether designated or not, will be included in the final total of our "Day of Giving" campaign.

Specific Funds or Scholarships

If you would like to direct your gift to a specific fund or scholarship, you may do so by visiting the "Make a Gift" page on our website at www.ottawa.edu/makeagift. Please specify the fund, scholarship, or area of study in the box marked, "Gift Designation".

Endowment

If your gift is not designated for a specific fund or scholarship it will be included in the Ottawa University endowment. The endowment is a fund made up of donations and investments that are managed over time to support the long-term financial health of Ottawa University. The endowment fund is invested with the goal of growing the fund over time through investment returns. A portion of the earnings from the endowment (but not the principal amount) is used by the university each year. In short, the university endowment is like a savings account for the school’s future, ensuring financial stability and providing the university with the resources it needs to thrive and support our mission for many years to come.

How do I make my gift?

On April 21, 2026, visit www.ottawa.edu/dayofgiving or www.ottawa.edu/makeagift to share your gift. Click the "Donate" button and follow directions. There will also be information on how to mail a donation.

How can I help share the word about Ottawa University Day of Giving?

Go online and use your favorite social media platforms to share the link to the "Day of Giving" website and use the hashtags, #OUForeverMore #OUDayofGiving #OUPride, and encourage others to share a gift. We encourage you to create a matching challenge for your classmates to also share their gift on this day.

Is my donation to Ottawa University Day of Giving tax deductible?

Yes. All gifts to Ottawa University are tax deductible. Once you make your gift you will receive an email confirmation and tax information.

I'm having trouble making my donation or I haven't received an email confirmation about my gift. What should I do?
